Meet Berlin's favourite Hypno Shibari artist, Hands of Eros aka Emmanuel. His work centres around Shibari, Hypnosis and impact play, helping women connect to their subconscious, discover themselves, and find new paths to sexual empowerment and healing.
‘Friends describe me as an “iron hand in a velvet glove”—firm yet tender.’
Hands of Eros aka Emmanuel is a Hypno Shibari artist based in Berlin. Offering online and in-person experiences, his sessions are open to all, though his main clientele is currently women. Offering Hypno Shibari services as well as soft domination sessions, his work is where art, spirituality and sensuality find a meeting point.
My name is Emmanuel, and I am a hypno shibari artiste. My practice blends the arts of Shibari (Japanese rope bondage), hypnosis, and impact play to create powerful, transformative experiences for my clients . Through this, I help women connect to their subconscious, discover themselves, and find new paths to sexual empowerment and healing.
What are the specific services you provide on Sensuali?
On Sensuali, I offer mostly hypnosis, shibari and impact play private sessions for women but I am also open to any requests according to the services presented on my website.
Indeed, I also provide mentoring and training for anyone interested in learning these practices, including customized guidance for people who want to understand the art behind what I do.
What was your journey into this world?
My journey started with Shibari and impact play, where I found both connection and expression.
Hands of Eros.
Over time, I discovered hypnosis, which felt like the missing puzzle piece in my practice, allowing me to tap into a deeper part of my clients’ consciousness.
This fusion of skills gave me the opportunity to create something truly unique—Hypno Shibari—which integrates spiritual, physical, and emotional dimensions into one powerful practice.
Do you have a mission?
Absolutely. My journey begins with my ikigai, as a Holistic Personal Development Leader. From there, I have a clear vision that drives why I do what I do, and multiple missions outlining how I will achieve that vision.
How would you describe your approach and style?
My approach is rooted in presence and trust. Whether through rope, hypnosis, or impact play, I guide my clients into a space where they can let go, experience a deep connection with themselves, and explore different facets of their inner world. It’s a mix of playful energy, deep concentration, and a safe container for transformation.
Hands of Eros.
My style leans towards “soft dom,” where softness and gentleness are key elements, and my touch is like an iron hand in a velvet glove—firm yet tender.
Each session is personalized, creating a space for clients to explore at their own pace, with the care and respect they need at that moment.
What is your favourite thing about your work, and what are the biggest challenges?
My favorite thing is seeing people experience breakthroughs—when they tap into something deeper inside themselves or realize they can express something they’ve held back for a long time. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness that moment of self-realization and liberation.
The biggest challenge is the misconceptions and stigma around BDSM and sensual work. Many people still see it through the lens of stereotypes or misunderstand its potential for healing and empowerment.
Who is your typical client?
My typical clients are individuals who are looking for more than just physical experiences—they are seeking emotional and spiritual transformation. They come to me because they want to explore a deeper level of connection, whether it’s with themselves or others.
Hands of Eros.
Women, especially, seek me out to reclaim their power and explore their sensuality in a safe and guided space.
Many are also curious about hypnosis and how it can be integrated into their intimate and even daily lives.
What should more people know about your work?
They can start by reading my Session Contract and understand that it’s not just about the physical aspect—it’s about transformation, healing, and connection. The combination of hypnosis and Shibari takes people into a deeper state of consciousness, allowing them to access their emotions and subconscious in a way that traditional practices might not. It’s an exploration of self, not just a physical experience, and the results can be life-changing.
How has your relationship with what you do evolved over time?
When I first started, it was all about connection. I was focused on creating deep, meaningful bonds through the practice of Shibari and impact play. Over time, I’ve gone through a phase of upskilling my techniques, sharpening my craft without losing the playfulness that defines my style.
Initially, my practice was about exploring sex and sensuality for myself and my partners, not as a professional. However, it quickly became professional thanks to my masters, and now my focus integrates both the emotional connection and technical precision to create holistic, transformative experiences for my clients.
What are your hopes for the future in the sensual world?
I hope to continue breaking down the barriers and misconceptions around BDSM and sensuality, making it more accessible and understood as a practice of healing and self-discovery. I also want to create more spaces—retreats, workshops, perhaps even a school—where people can explore these practices in a safe and empowering way. My vision includes expanding the community and reaching more people through online platforms like Sensuali, where they can learn, explore, and connect.
Anything else you want to add?
I would just like to say that this work is a journey, not just for my clients but for myself as well.
Every session, every interaction, teaches me something new, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to walk this path with so many amazing individuals. Whether you’re curious, experienced, or somewhere in between, there’s always something to discover, and I’m here to guide and support you in that journey.
